M A I S O N 9 – Prestigious Guest House in Provence
Maison 9 is a private property from the 19th century which offers 4 luxury suites with a “Bed and breakfast” service. They are managed by the owner Cynthia Kayser-Maus, an interior designer.
All suites are equipped with a double bed for 2 persons, a spacious shower, kitchenette, TV, WiFi and a private terrace.
The property is set in a quit landscape, surrounded by vineyards and a few other country houses. Just a 10-minute walk from the center of Cassis, the harbor and the beach as well as all shops, restaurants, bars, and all the possibilities for excursions.
Article 1 / Booking
Stays are at least 2 nights.
Article 2 / Our prices
For children under the age of 3, it is possible to request an extra bed for free.
For children aged 3 to 10, we ask for an extra charge of €60 per night and per child.
For any additional person over the age of 11, we charge €120 per night and per person in addition to the room price.
The price included a generous breakfast served on the terrace in good weather. In case of bad weather, it will be served in the main house.
Article 3 / Payments
We accept payments by bank transfer and on-site in cash and by credit card. The payment of 30% deposit of the total amount of the stay is made only by bank transfer. Payment of the total balance of the stay can be made by bank transfer, cash or credit card. The bank charges related to the payment by credit card remain at the expense of the customer.
Article 4/ Length of stay
Under no circumstances shall the client signing the contract for a fixed term be entitled to any right to maintain the premises.
Article 5/ Booking procedures
After receiving your reservation, we send you a written confirmation by email and invite you to settle within a maximum of one week (but more quickly if it is a reservation made with less notice) a deposit of 30% of the total amount of the stay. Once this deposit is received, the reservation becomes firm. By the settlement of the deposit, you confirm your agreement full and complete with the general conditions specified below. Please note that without the payment of the deposit within the allotted time, the reservation is not confirmed and that, as a result, we reserve the right to retrieve the rooms.
Article 6/ Cancellation of the stay by the customer
Any modification is possible only after the agreement of “Maison°9” and may incur additional costs.
We inform you that in the case of cancellation of the reservation before the start of the stay, an indemnity fixed in the following way will be due by the client:
– If the cancellation occurs more than 8 days before the arrival date, the deposit will be fully reimbursed
– If the cancellation occurs less than 7 days before the arrival date, the entire payment will be forfeited to “MAISON°9”.
In case of early departure during the stay: total of the booking will be charged.
Article 7/ Cancellation Insurance
We would like to inform you that no cancellation insurance is included in our tariffs. It is therefore strongly recommended to subscribe one on your side.
Article 8/ Cancellation of the stay by the owner
If, before the start of the stay, the owner is forced to cancel the reservation, she must immediately inform the client by email. The customer will then be immediately and fully reimbursed for the amount he has already paid.
Article 9/ Time of arrival
The customer must arrive on the day specified during his reservation, between 2 am and 5 am (hours of availability of the rooms and the delivery of the keys). The customer will imperatively call , if he is forced to arrive after this time slot (at + 33 (0) 6 66 04 78 81).
Article 10/ Time of departure
The departure time of the rooms is set no later than 12 pm. Any departure after 12 pm is a penalty of 20 euros per additional hour.
It is possible to enjoy the area and the pool after releasing the room. All you have to do is ask for it the day before.
Article 11/ Payment of the accommodation balance
The balance of the stay is to be settled the day before departure at the latest, on the initiative of the customer. The payment can be made by bank transfer, bank card or cash.
Article 12/ Change of rooms
Without the customer being able to avail himself of any indemnity, the owner reserves the possibility to change the room initially reserved by the customer by a room of the same capacity or of superior capacity. In such a case, the cost of the reservation remains unchanged.
Article 13/ Pets
Pets are not allowed.
Article 14/ Art of living and use of premises
In order to guarantee the tranquility of the premises and the comfort of the guests of Maison°9, the respect of a certain “art de vivre” is required of all. In particular it is requested not to smoke inside the rooms and the common areas. The customer is more generally committed to respecting the rules of know-how which will be indicated to him, those which are necessary for all when we live in community and these general conditions of sale.
The customer agrees to leave the rooms in perfect condition at the end of the stay and to declare systematically – and to assume financially – any degradation that he would be responsible for. It is specified that the kitchen in the common room is not left to the guests at free disposal.
The minors evolving on the property are placed under the sole and full responsibility of their parents or persons having authority over them.
Maison°9 will not accept any liability for loss, theft and/or damage or injury to property and/or persons on the estate, whatever the cause.
To the extent reasonable, it is possible to invite friends to visit you at Maison°9. However, it is necessary to make the request to ensure the comfort of the other guests.
Article 15/ Modification of the conditions of sale
These Terms of sale are subject to change at any time and without notice. Acceptance and compliance with these Terms of sale shall be deemed to have been acquired as soon as the deposit is paid.
